I planted organic pickling cucumbers because I prefer the small cukes that don't contain a lot of seeds. Well these things are growing round instead of straight like all cucumbers I have ever seen before. On top of that it produced 3 cukes and now there are no blooms. I have watered it once a day and twice daily since the heat wave set in. Have fertilized it. Why are the cukes round with just a small point on them and not straight? Is it 100 deg temps? The cukes are also yellow skinned.
I am frantic because now I think I just picked a bad variety to grow and I went to 2 stores and could not find any cucumber seeds to plant new ones.
