My Veggie Garden 2012(Pics) (grow, fertilizer, strawberries, butterfly)

I'll try to update pics here every so often.

While putting tomatoes in the ground today(2 weeks early) I Found some slugs.

I forgot to add that I started everything by seeds except the Onion sets. I'll post pics of the Corn and Potato beds soon.

i love your garden pics!
I have to grow veggies in a raised garden, so my garden this year
is very small. (cinderblocks are heavy).
The bags of soil Miracle Grow garden soil are heavy too.
I planted 3 squash plants, i green bell pepper, 9 brocilli, 2 tomatoe
plants. They all grew, and I ate or froze all the brocilli.
Now I love veggie gardening.
Thank you for posting pics again, it is encouraging to me.
Mabey next year I can get the energy to add another
raised concrete bed.

I would recommend using 4x4s or 2x8s instead. It might be less expensive and it would look better too. I also would recommend getting a yard or two of soil from local nurseries, farms or distributor. That is for sure a ton of savings and you get more soil in the process. (and less to carry to) :-)

Potatoes: Put them in ground in early April. Some havent sprouted so I will replant in those areas.

Can you share your secret on how you gone from seed to such beautiful plants??
How much did it all cost? How did you keep your cost down(fertilizer must be expensive)?

I am trying to get a veggie garden going but I don't have a lot of money or experience.
