Have you looked into gardening by the moon? I have followed this method for 2 years and IT WORKS!!! I weed, plant, prune and harvest when it tells me I should. I only had to weed a few times last year and I have the best garden I've had ever had. this year the weeds were very minimal. I've only weeded once this year.
