YesterdayI found small (1/2" diameter, 1/2" deep) holes in the dirt around the base of several of my roses. I sprayed them and filled them in, and when I went out to check today, the holes were back. Does anyone have a clue as to what could be causing this? If it helps any, I live near Scottsdale AZ.
Lizards don't burrow holes, the live under rocks, wood piles, brush etal. Cicadas are active now.
