Yesterday I took the pictures linked below...the roses are still going and the zinnias are taking over the yard, sidewalk and planters.....in a month most of the summer annuals will be gone...thought you might enjoy the last of the fall garden and a few simple interior decorations Cattknap/Fall 2007 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

People here are so odd....I post pictures of our garden and lots of people of looked but not a one has any comment - I have other garden forums that I frequent and we post pictures and oooh and ahhh over each other's hard work...here, nothing. What gives? It's not that I think anything I've done is so spectacular - it is just fun to see what other's gardens look like and give each other a pat on the back once in a while - here people look, but no comment.

Well, I just stumbled upon this and I must say WOW.....and would you please come to my house and make magic like you did with yours? I am impressed, and don't mind commenting. Don't have much of a green thumb myself, although I do try, and adding drought to the pic, I have a nicely multi-hewed brown theme going on.
I think your garden is very well thought out, and very lovely. What I have always wanted for myself but have never accomplished.

Hey - thanks aiangel - I appreciate your comments....I think the zinnias really worked this year. Plant combo ideas and gardening tips are always interesting to me - I wish more would stop by and say hi rather than stop by and look and say nothing.
If you have any questions about gardening I will be happy to try to help you and I know there are many good gardeners on this site (silent but good, LoL). Take care.

cattknap your home and gardens are amazing! My favorite is your front porch and your window boxes. My word! those window boxes are PACKED! I really like how you have the hat on the side of the bench (so much so i'm gonna steal the idea for my own bench).

I especially like your fountain, Catt.
But the overflowing window boxes are lovely, too.

What an inspiration! You've done a lot of work and your yard looks fabulous. I've just moved to a state that somewhat has seasons compared to FL from where I moved. It's nice to see pansies, mums and ornamental cabbages in the flowerbeds of yards around here.

Beautiful work!
Just want to say that the garden and house look great. I love to do this kind of stuff too. Just never seem to have enough time. Just a question- do you work outside of the house?
