The new house I am buying has a sick Bismark Palm. A lawnscaper said it is weevils and it is dead. It is 25 feet high and 3 ft in diameter. Can it be saved? treatment?
Well I wouldnt trust a lawnscaper to diagnose a tree with problems. However you need to get an arborist to take a look at it. Make sure they have experience with palms.
It may be too late to save it, but there are some treatments available for palm weevils, if you do want to try & save it you will need an experienced palm aborist to look at it...
