Thanks. I needed that.

Cold wet and gloomy here. Your rose is delicious.

That is one beautiful healthy looking Rose, so pretty. About the only type of flowers a person is going to see growing around my area are mums or that type of low growing bush, & they are beautiful & colorful looking too.

ArkansasSlim, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the "roses" about Wife's rose. She has been growing it in a pot on the patio (about 50% sun) for several years. This blossom seems reluctant to leave , but we expect it to go with the next wind .

I was afraid it would be gone this morning but it is still hanging on. Last night we had a bad thunderstorm, in fact, a house up the street was struck by lightning and caught fire. Occupants were O.K. but haven't heard any details about the house.

Here in Michigan, my roses are still blooming. They are alongside the house so maybe the radiant heat helps. One year we had them till Christmas! It was 70 degrees yesterday and I went out and trimmed them for (probably) the last time till spring.

In MD, my Sharifa Asma and Noble Antony roses are still blooming as well. Is it unusual? I thought we'd be getting a harsh winter, but now I'm not so sure.
