Presently I have a well and a sprinkler system with pump. But I do not have any faucets that run off of the well. I want to add at least two on each side of my house where there are none now. I am considering adding a second jet pump and pressure tank and connect it to the incoming water supply line that is going to the sprinkler pump. I thought to run 1 inch plastic pipe around the perimeter of the house and install two 3/4 inch bib faucets on each side of the house. I have never done this before and want to " look before I leap" City water is very expensive and I want to use the hose to water some areas that are not covered by the sprinkler.
Are you drilling another well? That's a big expense to get a couple of outdoor faucets. If not, just make a connection to what you have, you shouldn't need another pump/pressure tank set-up.
I am not drilling a new well, just branching off the pipe to sprinkler pump
Any chance that yours is the one property in PSL that has a hill?
(pump up th hill to a tank... gravity feed down)
