With apologies to Bulldogdad for going off track, it seems there are several ash borers out there along with so many other pests. Each area of the country seems to have its own special problems. Thanks for posting the heads up for those who share your climate and your trees BDD. I hope your clients tres can be saved.
Yes, we have them (EAB) in the park itself now. It was sad to hear but not completely unexpected as soon as we started seeing the purple boxes hanging in the trees along all the back roads leading towards the mountains. They made the announcement after finding them at one of the main visitors' centers, Sugarlands.
I just posted this thread cause now is the best time well actually a month ago depending on your region of the country to spray and treat for borers. One of the most destructive classification of pests for trees.
