Has anyone had an issue with neem oil and roses? I've used it before, but this is the first time I've sprayed it on roses.

My roses immediately died. 11 healthy roses dead as doorstops, all at exactly the same time, just after being sprayed with neem oil.

Was it pure neem oil or a neem based product?

Oregon,
OMG. I'm so sorry. You must be devastated. I have heard that neem oil
can been used on roses. I use Organicide, in a spray bottle, diluted with water.
I usually use it in the warmer weather.
Did you mix it right? I can't even imagine how you feel.
Sorry about that. Mabey they will pull through for you. I hope so.

Wow... I use neem on my tomato and citrus plants after diluting with water. No issues.

If you mixed the neem oil product according to directions, I can't imagine it causing any harm at all, no matter how much you applied to it. It is a fairly good insecticide and fungicide and I have used it on roses for many years. The only problem I have is that it is not all that effective when blackspot season really ramps up.
