Does anyone have brand recommendations? I don't think I'll be able to build/buy/create a
bin/tub/tumbler/pile this year so I thought this might be the way to go.

I've looked into buying some off of Ebay (Erath Earth brand). I've also thought about buying worm castings and make my own tea.

NY,
Find a Tractor Supply store or local feed store for rabbit alfalfa pellets
near your home.
They are everywhere.
They are pellets of alfalfa and disolve easily.
You can buy a really big bag, and throw it on all your plants.
It is wonderful for them.
Then water them real good.
You can't burn them with it. Be generous.
You can make your own tea too, just put some in a container or bucket,
add water and cover it.
When ever you want, you can use it to fertilize anything.
I am lazy, I just throw it on everything I have, including the lawn.
Grass LOVES it.
Then I water real good after I apply it. It's natural, non toxic, safe for pets
and kids, and easy.
The worse your soil is, the more you should use.
No, you will not be over run with rabbits. I thought that too, but I
wasn't.
And we have alot of rabbits around here.
P.S. And its cheap!

No feed stores here. I'll most likely have to order it.

I just got 60 lbs of casting. You can get a 15lb for 20 dollars delivered. Amazon. But check your local hydroponic or nursery store.

A good alternative is fresh human urine. It's necessary to dilute it at least 10:1. Use it within a day or pour it on to your compost pile. It will provide nitrogen to the compost as well as speeding up the reaction. I'm just beginning an experiment composting corrugated cardboard with urine.

How do you use urine as an organic fertilizer?

A blend of bad guanno, humas, oats, kelp, and... Put into a stocking and throw into a garbage can filled with water; airate the solution for acouple days using an air pump and you'll have a good amount of nutrient compost solution to dilute with.

All the best
