I assume you are talking about the English Daisy. They are so common in lawns as the typical white daisy, but when I find one with a particular color I like, I dig it up and plant it on its own in a pot or bed and they get larger, with larger flowers. I found one with a nice dark pink color and the flowers got to an inch across when I planted it on its own.
