I have. There was no one else around. I didn't laugh. But I thought it was kinda funny.

I haven't stepped on a rake to get smacked in the face but I've misplaced it and many other garden tools on the side of trees or in the grass.
To cut down on the 'search' time, I've painted all tools dayglow pink.

Sure, probably 2-3 times, but never bad enough to suffer from bleeding or bruises.

The one and only time I did was when I was around 10 years old, I remember getting a split lip and huge headache. Never again I said to myself. Ouch.

Me too, also about 10, stepped on the rake while in the garage and it hit me in the face and I got a bloody nose.

Me too, but I think I was a grown-up. Couldn't believe I did it.

Never did the rake thing, but I've walked full speed into a stop sign before because I was talking to a friend that was beside me. Just walking along and look forward just in time to see the metal pole beat me in the face.

I've stepped on a rake but it didn't hit me in the face.

A few years back the doorbell rang while I was working in my office, and I jumped up to answer the door. My work setup was rather makeshift then; long story short, I tripped over the mouse wire and wound up sprawled on the floor. It hurt but I was OK, other than feeling like a total doofus.

Yes, then I slipped on a discarded banana skin and got hit with a custard pie just before a grand piano fell out of a window and crushed me.

Yes to the rake and I have slipped on a banana peel in a parking lot once too, I am worried a bit about the piano.
