No, I don't use a PC UPS except for my computer. The laser is in a power conditioner, the air pump and exhaust fan just in the outlets directly. Sometimes I work with odd things like food. Here's something I did for upcoming Halloween.
The wood is "cheap". No idea what it actually is, its the cheapest "nice" plywood that is sold here, the only other 3mm ply I can get is aircraft ply (phenolic glue so does not laser, and is $50 for 1'x3') or luan ply (for which I cannot think of a project i'd stoop to using it for, i wont even use it as spoilboard in my cnc router).

The wood is similar colour to birch, but its not - we dont tend to get such nice woods here - its also extremely resinous when cutting.

Those are so cute. And I love the little tomatoe drawings on the outside...

I've been giving these pots out for a few weeks now - I have created and planted about 120 of them for over 30 different plant species for friends and family. Some of of the gift recipients have wanted to buy some off me to give as gifts too I've created a Kickstarter project so people who are not local can enjoy them too. I'd really appreciate if people could share the link on social media or perhaps even back the project!

You can find the project on kickstarter here:

They might seem a bit expensive, but unfortunately I lose a little over 80% of the pledged amount to tax, kickstarter fees and shipping (for a US or Canadian backer) But still, I'm having lots of fun making them!
