Live in Houston and transplanted these leftovers in October from Home Depot for fun. first time having a backyard so was experimenting past the growing season. I was about to tear these out today until I saw some small sprouts on the stems of these plants about 1cm big and baby sprouts on each leaf. Looks like the mild winter just slowed down their growth. Should I cut these down and start over?

A couple of winters ago, I had tried growing broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and brussel sprouts over the winter and actually got a better yield than I had ever gotten from summer gardening in N Texas. [it's just to hot and the plants despite the watering got too stressed] Due to some building going on I didn't get to plant a winter garden but this fall I plan to try it again to see if was just some fluke, yet the year I grew them the snow/ice cold didn't seem to hurt the plants at all.

I would let it ride and see if how big they will get, since it is still too early for the spring plants like tomatoes, peppers and such.
