I am an incurable houseplant killer, but I think i've finally found one that even I cant kill.
I was able to resurrect this after months of neglect by simply watering it, once. Now I want to find out what it is so I can buy more of them. I got it as a gift and they don't know what kind it is either.

Thanks

Yeah I am trying, one of the shoots is sticking in that green pot behind it (a fern I killed). I made a little slit with a knife where it touches the soil hoping it will sprout some roots.

Jade plant: either a trailing variety or in it's struggle to gain more light it's taken on that form. It grows easily from cuttings. Yours appears to be starved of light and food. Once a fortnight give it liquid seawead fertiliser at the strength of weak tea. Water the plant once a weak, more if it's kept in a room at high temperatures.

I was thinking along this line too. Never having seen a trailing Jade as I recall.

If you have problems with house plants, you might try a sanservia-someties called snake plant and/or mother in laws tongue.

Not sure what it is, but it needs to be cut WAY back. Those naked stems will never have leaves again. I would cut it back to about 5" and give it more light and some fertilizer. All the cut off stems can be used to start new plants.
