Yuck. After reading those links, I have bought my last bag of "Miracle" Gro, which I bought for the first time this year. Thank goodness I haven't used it for any indoor plants.

I have found Lambert Potting Mix at HD to be an excellent alternative to Miracle Grow. Cheaper price and much better quality. My elephant ears are growing like crazy in that stuff. After reading the posted links, I too am done with Miracle Grow and Scotts.

I make my own soil out of leaves I rake up every fall. It makes the best soil, clean, and it smells wonderful.
