Hi, anyone out there that can help me with a small problem with a Madagascar dragon tree (Dracaena Marginata), its approx. 5ft tall, has three branches, I have had this tree 7yrs, though never had anything serious with it, but lately all the lower leaves on all 3 branches are drooping from halfway up the plant, the leaves on the upper half are fine, nice green with the red lines down either sides, the lower leaves are slightly paler than they should be, I don't want to lose it after all these years.

It sounds like the lower leaves have simply finished their life cycle and are transporting their nutrients to the upper leaves. You might either wait for them to finish the process or sytematically (not all at once!) start removing the leaves from the bottom up as they yellow.

Or, if you suspect a mineral deficiency (also possible) you might add a very dilute micronutrient mix after consulting a nursery expert.

Thank you luv4horses, I will try the latter, their suppose to grow around 10ft, I was thinking of also putting it in a bigger pot, with fresh mixture of soil and compost (composted grass over 12mths) as it been in same for over 4yrs as that was last time it was re-potted,
