Since so many of us gardeners are also into hummingbirds, let this be a reminder to never let anybody discard chewing gum anywhere other than wrapped in paper and put in the trash. Personally I hate gum and never allowed my kids to chew it. (But I found out their Daddy gave it to them as a special treat when away from home)

Oh wow!!

I'm a gum chewer but have NEVER just tossed it out. I always wrap it and throw in the garbage.

I absolutely hate when I step in some but never even thought this could happen!

I am not a gum chewer either, and hate all the ones that are who love to stick it anywhere, and everywhere one cannot see it. ***! Nice to see the little guy was saved by a decent human being.
