Well, my mystery plant bloomed. I'm fairly certain it's Evening Primrose. So far I like it, it adds a nice pop of color to the garden.

Towards evening it has a wonderful fragrance. They self sow reliably and next year you will have a patch of them. I let them go in a clients yard and it has made a nice patch of bright yellow that needs no water in our drought.

If they are forget me nots, I hope you will keep them. They are one of my favorite flowers and were hard to get started her in northern Maine.
