I'm in MN and since we had some very frigid temps and very little snow I lost many shrubs/plants. I have a gorgeous rose hedge in front and it looked like it was history but I fertilized it and trimmed it and talked real nice to it and I'll be darned if it isn't coming back. Not as full as before - it looks more like separate plants rather than a hedge. We need that snow cover for insulation.
