I've never heard of any oxalis being a nitrogen fixer.
I'm more tolerant of volunteer plants than many people, but it sounds to me like you've got one of the aggressive sorrels, for which the only appropriate policy is zero tolerance!
I have found clover extremely hard to contain and control. I experimented with a small patch seven years ago and have been removing it lots of other places since then.
