Cost of building a Gravel road? (yard, neighbor)

Does anyone have any idea how much it costs to build a gravel road/driveway?

I need about 1/2 mile and I am splitting it with other neighboring property owners, so I want it done right with a professional doing it the right way, with screening, a crowned surface for proper drainage etc.

I'm getting ready to pursue estimates, but it don't know what to expect. It could $5,000 or $$50,000 and I am totally clueless about what to expect. Any real world experience here?

I did 2500' long, 10' wide, 3" deep.

231 Yards of Gravel you need. Here it costs about $30 a yard for Top Soil. Not sure about gravel. So the gravel itself will run about $6500-8000.

I would say the project would come closer to $22,000 if you need drainage too and screening and crowning. Let me know how I did.
