Somebody in my neighborhood has a big ol fat fake snake in her garden bed by the street. We have lots of marauding deer and I'm wondering if it works. Do you use fake snakes?

Whenever I hear a piercing scream from next door I know my neighbor has seen a snake while gardening. Pretty regular occurrence but they're only garter snakes.

Have real snakes here, so no. I was always under the impression for a garden you plant some for you and some for the deer and rabbits.

That would be just dandy if they only ate their allotted share and NOT THE WHOLE DANG GARDEN.

I used a fake snake on top of my pontoon boat's cloth roof to keep a great blue heron from perching up there to eat fish and drop the bones all over the boat. It kinda worked....

I put a fake snake under the wife's pillow one time. Sleeping outside wasn't so bad.
