I think the winter storm of buffalo killed it and there is no hope. Mainly worried because it is connected to the garage.


More so worried about the garage going next.

Wow. Need a better picture though and you should post it in the Home section of the forum. Some very knowledgable builders over there in that forum.

Couple rolls of duct tape. It'll be fine.


Probably worth it to salvage it. Doesn't scare me though the documentation is weak.

Get three bids. You will learn plenty. Good chance that one or two want the job.

It looks structurally unsound. It looks like you need a new roof truss at least. You can be hurt or killed working in unsafe structures. I'd get some professional quotes from several builders, and possibly have a structural engineer come and look at it.
