Hello, i've been trying to find a safe alternative to killing weeds, and the best I can come up with is 20% vinegar. Unfortunately because of laws and regulations it's almost impossible to find locally. It's sold online but comes with a hefty shipping fee, so if you know of any local place please respond. Thanks in advance!

What's it tell you when you can't find your 20% vinegar but can buy real weed killer? Don't make the incorrect assumption that natural is always safer! I'm very into my lawn, borderline obsessed, I'm all for certain Natural /organic things when possible but the reality is most of the time the natural way is crap. ESPECIALLY when it comes to killing weeds.

hrrrm, our regular distilled white vinegar kills weeds really well, especially if we squirt some dishwashing soap into it. Just don't get it on your grass, it will kill anything small and green.

My neighbor has been successfully using regular vinegar to kill bamboo - and that stuff is tough to get rid of.

There is no doubt that vinegar kills weeds, I have used the household kind but it takes few days to start working. I guess you can say I am experimenting whether 20% acidity will kill them faster. I'm not trying to convince anyone that my preference for killing weeds is better than the conventional stuff (I'm no scientist), I just need a nearby place that sells it.

I guess my search will be more difficult than I thought.
