Every nursery I checked reported "out of stock." Do you know of any nursery that has them currently available?
I had a gorgeous full-sized weigela that was in a rock garden that was enclosed by timbers. Variegated leaves, pink flowers in spring, followed by a 2nd blooming -- with not quite as many blooms -- in summer. Gorgeous. Anyway, the timbers needed a re-staining so to make the job easier for the painters, I pruned the plant so it wouldn't interfere with them. Unfortunately, I killed it; just call me "bushwhacker," and now I'm reluctant to replace it as the space is really close to underground utility and phone lines.
But I have room elsewhere for a couple of dwarf weigelas and that's what I'm seeking.

Try Patuxent nursery. Even if they don't have it in stock, they will order it for you. Glyndon Gardens will do the same.

Glyndon has them but does not provide mail order. Nature Hills does have them, several varieties, and provides mail order.

Yes but GG is local and the drive down will be scenic. They also have lots of other goodies at the nursery that you can check out in person while you are there. Did I mention that there are a few cute girls on staff who are friendly and helpful?

"He" is a "he."
On the other hand, "he" is 71 and doesn't have the energy for flirting with, much less chasing, cute young Glyndon Gardens' girls.
The mere thought of digging holes to plant several weigelas is exhausting in itself.
Come to think of it they did sound helpful and cheerful on the phone.
