Is anyone doing hydroponic or aeroponic gardening? I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos about hydroponics and aeroponics. I searched the 'Garden' section and found almost nothing about the subject, at least in the 'subject line' search.

I'm thinking about doing some experimentation with hydroponics or aeroponics. I'll start with lettuce and cherry tomatoes.

My husband has been dying to try growing some vegetables hydroponically. I am sure you already found this out, but he said the most informative, most technical YouTube videos on this subject are done by people growing pot!

The motivation for people to grow marijuana is very strong, either because people use it or people are selling it. I have no desire to grow marijuana since I wouldn't ever consider using it, and it's illegal to grow (at least in most states). However, the high interest in growing marijuana is helping expand the industry aimed at the people growing marijuana, such as grow tents, hydroponics, lighting and other things, all that equipment can also be used to grow tomatoes, peppers, and other vegetables.

There's a ton of videos on YouTube about growing hydroponically. I'm watching a lot of mhpgardener videos and other videos about hydroponics. I'm going to be ordering my hydroponic fertilizer materials soon. I need to figure out other materials to order, such as trays, net cups, rock wool, and a PH meter. I'm also going to start experimenting with home made fluorescent and LED lighting.

I have a friend who bought Hydroponic Lemon Grass for their shakes and has asked me to plant it into soil hoping it will grow.
Has anybody done this?

I have an aerogarden and grow tons of herbs in it. It saves me hundreds of dollars a year and I always have fresh herbs at hand. Fun too.
