I have this weird very large soft grass randomly popping up in my lawn. I have a small patch in the front and back yards and a few random blades coming up here and there. I don't think it's crab grass. The leaves are a lighter green then the rest of the lawn and almost look like the leaves you see on corn stalks they're just huge. Looking for help. I put down weed and feed last week, but I'm thinking I'm gonna need to spray.
Nevermind. This is totally crab grass in its early stages. I put down a preventor early in the season and its done well overall. But there is one part of my lawn that holds a lot of water, always hard to grow thick grass there and thats where most of this problem is happening. Looks like I'm spraying. Gotta get this all killed off before it spreads like it did last year. Hopefully the weed and feed takes care of the rest.
