Right now it's my allysum. It smells wonderful and gets lots of comments from pedestrians passing by on the sidewalk. I have many clumps of perennial white allysum growing around all 4 sides of the house. They've been blooming non-stop since last February and just keep spreading and getting bigger. They're full of bees and other autumn polinators.

In the spring, my many hyacinths bloom. As soon as I open the car door when I arrive home, the smell of those hyacinths surrounds me!
Japanese chokecherry. For a few brief days in May.
The last few years we have had a rainy and windy spell right after it blooms and I've had to run outside, grab a branch and take a sniff to get my annual fix.
not in my garden, but in the line fence where my dairy cattle grazed...........
It was 1/4 mile long and about a 15 ft stretch in the middle of it had wild plums.
When they bloomed in spring and there was a north west breeze, the grazing strip had the aroma of perfume.
Retired and moved, but I still have great memories of those wild plum blossoms.
The nicotiana. Now we are having a warm spell, they seem happy. Pumping out perfume.
