I don't know if they taste all that good by themselves .....but you can use them to decorate cakes/cupcakes and ice cream for a fun look.

Another tasty flower for those of us in warmer parts of the country are those produced on the pineapple guava..

By themselves, they taste a bit bland, with a sort of sweet-n-low flavor..but added to a fruit salad, they add a nice accent..

The only catch is that you have to gather them before the birds gobble them all up..and sometimes, at least here, the jays and mocking birds will fight you for them...
