I recently discovered that English laurel can be trained to have tree-formed and it looks very appealing as a tree.
I am wondering if it is possible to train it to spread along the pergola so that I can have an evergreen pergola. I saw orchard of lemon trees climbing on wooden trellis in Italy and want to recreate that look.
