Beautiful! I just love stuff like this, the colors were so pretty. Go ahead and paint fuchsia, I recently painted the front door a pretty blue/green. The door looks great, goes perfect with the Ben Moore gray walls and my colbalt blue flower pots, but what's the worst that can happen? You have to repaint.

LOL on the steps. I actually measured them before winter and cut mirror backing to fit the spaces. Then when I had time between snow storms, YES it was brutal last year and I was here all alone dealing with it, I worked on the step backers. When the steps finally really dried out well I then mounted them to the step fronts. I had already grouted and polished them all on my kitchen counter. THEN I did have to get down to install and add the edgings. It was not too bad but I would not have wanted to do all of it from a sitting on the steps position. That would hurt.

Years ago I bought a pallet of off cut mirror pieces and have been using them for many projects. I never thought I would run out but soon I will be looking for more.
