I have this stuff coming up throughout my yard, even through the boards of my deck. Would so appreciate suggestions on how to safely get rid of it. I want to leave the bit where birds like to roost. Should have gone after it before as it is established now, interferes with grapes and forsythia. Thanks...

Well, where we had it it was welcome because it's pretty, colorful, takes care of itself. We just cut it back where it bothered us.

So it's growing under your deck then? Can you get someone to crawl under there and saw/dig it out?
