This year everything is emerging and it’s very exciting!
Nice! Enjoy

Right now we're budding here with some trees blooming. Lilacs are waking up too. And Forsythias

A comparison of my backyard Maple around same time frame.. 2012 remains an anomaly. We were leafed out by now which was so crazy to see. Usually takes till mid May.

This year is slightly ahead of last year which was very late.

I don't have 2013 & 2014

I'm in South Jersey. About a week ago the star magnolias were 1st to blood with magnolias budded up, about to open. The other day I went out, all the flowering trees except Redbuds were blooming but they're going to pop by next week, my weeping redbud included.

My roses are leafing out. Someone had given me white and purple violets years ago that are invasive, they've been blooming. I've been trying to dig them to plant in along the woods next to me. My columbine is up. I expect those to go soon. Daffs are up but not blooming for me.

Yesterday I saw bunch of tulips blooming around town.

I love this time of the year

I’m going to try basil and tarragon in the house.
My herb garden is going crazy - it loves these cool but sunny days and the occasional torrential downfall! The basil and tarragon are both doing really well, and the mint - oh my gosh, it's taken off like crazy. Sage never died this year nor did the onion grass stuff. Or the rosemary of course - it's doing great. I planted several types of oregano and thyme and they're all doing well too.

I finally figured out to plant cilantro in it's own pot and it's doing great too. I've also already gotten two or three strawberries from the strawberry plants.

Everything is greening up nicely and the snap dragons and azaleas are blooming like crazy. My rosebushes have also started to bloom and are full of buds. SPRING HAS SPRUNG FO SHO.

So, right now I’m obsessing about getting out to HD for more saxifrage. I bought a nice plant off the clearance rack for $3. They had more, so I dont know why I didn’t buy all of it at the time. I hope there is some left. The one I bought looks so sweet under the oak tree in the back yard.

Daffodils, finally in the last few days. And I mowed a few of the tall spots and put out my crabgrass preventer yesterday...good thing since there's an inch of snow on the ground today!
