C'mon your winters have far more than that blooming in winter. I was there in Jan 2016 and 2017. Camellias all over and all kinds of cold hardy flowers even after 20'sF temps I've seen all kinds of flowers in Beaufort and Savannah. I have pics.
Look at this for Savannah in January lol. Looks like summer almost to me.
South Metro Atlanta area, y'all are going to have Deep South envy; we have bowers of flowers: azaleas in every hue, pink and white dogwoods, bearded lilies, irises, and glorious budding trees. Think the gorgeous opening scene of Driving Miss Daisy filmed in Atlanta's own historic Druid Hills neighborhood. By the beginning of next month roses will be blooming. By the end of May we will probably have day lilies and hydrangeas in full bloom.
North Alabama zone 7b. Dogwoods, blueberries, rhododendrons, Iris, dandelions (I found that I have THREE soon-to-be-dead plants), plus many plants starting to bud.
What's in my yard right now? Mostly snow. The shadiest part of my yard by the woods probably won't thaw until May, based on current forecasts. We have a few dafs pushing up a few inches, but blooming anything? Long way away. This is in S. NH

Spring has Sprung in Delaware. 80 degrees right now.
Pretty! And pretty soon we'll be seeing more colors, flowers, and blooms.
Yeah, I'm watching those 80s in PA today. Backdoor front came through here this afternoon. Went from 70s to 50s within couple hours.
