I second that suggestion. Gorgeous flowers with a broad range of colours, and tuberous begonias are pretty easy to care for. I like it that TB's in containers can be brought indoors for the winter and if placed in well lit windows can continue to grow slowly and look nice through winter. They do like roomy pots though.
