I just heard of a way to mark your plants in the garden that is new to me. These markers work great and are all natural and blend into the garden.

Save all your wine corks. Buy a bag of wooden skewers. The pointy end of the skewer fits nicely into the hole your corkscrew made in the cork. Then write the name of the plant on the cork with a marker.

What a great idea! Or you could even use the entire bottle like this picture. So many reasons to drink wine and garden. I’ve even seen T-shirt’s that said the same.

...and of course this means you will need to drink a lot of wine to find the brands that use real corks rather than synthetic...

The only kind of wine I can drink and even remotely enjoy would be the Moscato; most any other kind of wine either tastes too acrid or vinegary to my taste buds.

I don’t think the plants care what kind of wine you get the cork from. LOL

Mmm, Wine. Cool idea although not sure how cost affective it is. but corks would look a lot better than my vinyl shades labels. LOL. I like the popsicle sticks idea too

I think they’re preferable to non recyclable plastic stakes that look like a mouse graveyard. I’m good with popsicle sticks, too.
