We have 300 watts buzzing landscape lights transformer when the lights are on. We want to replace it with something quite. Any recommendations?

I bought a paradise lighting 200W transformer/controller that was quiet as a mouse, how many fixtures do you have? It is possible that your transformer is oversized. Does your transformer also run your lighting schedule and programming. The paradise model would allow you to program and see the power being drawn. I think I was around 100 watts with about 20 to 25 lamps on it. I think a lot of that power is being used by the cabling because the wattage on the lamps didn't add up to the wattage being used and I initially had to increase from the 50W to the 200W model.
