I haven't been good with feeding for the past few years and this year I'd like to start. I have a LOT of garden to cover and not a lot of time so I need to do so efficiently. I really don't have time to scatter granules and work into the soil so I am looking more at liquid feeds. It's been suggested that I get the food with the hose end sprayer attachment. My only concern is that, given the spray and pray pattern of hose end, some plants will get over fed and others under and there will be run off. Also I think the foliar sprays say that you need to wet both sides of leaves, which is hard using a hose, especially with annuals close to the ground.
I did it for a while, until it clogged and leaked all over the place, but it did work fine until then. If you're getting run off, just turn the water pressure down a bit and take your time watering.
