I have 15 Oriental Lily plants, mostly the double type, and gorgeous. I see some have a White cotton-like thing between the flowers, and they have turned the flower a rust - yellow, and have not flowered. I went for help at Google, and it says it is a SOIL-BORNE disease, with no cure. I used Vigoro, and Miracle-Grow soil. It says further to destroy all the infected lilies, that is about 10 of them........

If I used good soil, how does that happens? We have had four months of off/ on rain........
Have anyone ever experience this? Thank you, for your support.

There are many plant diseases caused by fungi, like mildew, smuts, rusts, etc. ... These spores are transmitted on plants through wind, water, soil, birds, and insects. Once one of your plants is infected by a fungus, it is important that you protect your other plants from the fungal infection
