Though it's not cheap. 5 gal bucket is $80 plus tax online. For my 6 acre, it's waste to pay $22 plus tax for a gallon. When I spray, I spray easy 20-30 gal a season.
Just, as he mentioned - beware that this will kill ANY vegetation. It's basically RoundUp. Without all controversial chemistry in it. Will smell like pickles, that's about it.

Ukrkoz, I guess you didn't see them, so just so you know, there's already been a few recent discussions here about the pros and cons of using solutions of vinegar, salt and soap to kill plants. You might like to read them to pick up any additional tips.

White vinegar at Costco or Walmart can be as little as $2/gallon and it works, as long as you use it on a hot, sunny day.

Vinegar is an awesome weed killer.
Just ask my crushed stone driveway.
Best of all, cheap and wont cause mutant toads and cancer. Downside is your yard will smell like salad.

Everybody posts all these recipes for weed killer and my mother always had the best weed killer for their porch and sidewalk. Table salt and warm water. Works every time

vinegar and salt might kill top growth on annual weeds and might kill top growth on some perennial weeds but the roots are not killed and top growth will eventually return.

THIS!!!

I know cause I've tried. Used 15 to 20% strength vinegar solution too. Not a long lasting solution AT ALL.

One of my neighbors sprayed something, I have no idea what it was, on his acreage, and it worked really well.

And this is my standard rant: The result is his property looks like Chernobyl and is a horrid eyesore. But yay (?) no weeds ....or anything else growing on it. It is totally dead...no birds, no animals, no butterflies, no honeybees, no nothing. I prefer to let nature be nature on my 5+ acres, and it is beautiful, full of wildlife and greenery. No Chernobyl for me, thank you.

"Natural vegetation killer" or not, dead is dead.

Probably Ortho's Ground Clear. This works for sure but it's scary IMHO.

I use the vinegar, salt, dish detergent solution for killing the weeds on my stone walkways, driveway, and around the fence line. It works temporarily but my husband doesn't use the catcher on the mower so the weeds/seeds are blown on the walkways, driveway, and fence line. I don't care if I have to go out every other day to spray with this stuff because I know it will not harm my animals and I don't have to be out there pulling weeds.
