Initially the pest ate the leaf. There are also ants on the leaf that make me think there is aphids




I used BTi granules and systemic granules insecticide and it seems the leaf eating was stopped.


Now I see these dots underneath the leaves and need to figure what the bugs are:

Aphids are generally the most common insect for leaving black spotting under leaves.

I suggest a Garden Center or Cooperative Extension Board. It can be bacteria or fungal or just good old bugs. Bring in a few samples and they can examine and diagnose the cause.
