Not a palm tree but I saw a banana tree growing in Victoria BC several years ago. Banana trees also grow in a small stretch on the CA coast near Santa Barbara.

Yeah. I see them all over the place here. They can be grown even in some hemiboreal regions like Michigan. I hate that people here prefer them over palms and even magnolias, honestly; they're deciduous, which makes for more winter pain than summer delight.
