.... by applying the WRONG fertilizer.

I mistakenly applied Ammonium Calcium Nitrate on both of them instead of Ammonium Sulfate. The next day I saw the edge of leaves turned red. I was thinking to put Ammonium Sulfate on top but I had to go away on business trip. I cam back a week later, the blueberries have but all dropped their leaves.

At this stage, anything I can do to rescue them other than preparing a funeral service?

As a last resort to try to rescue them I'd do a thorough drench of the foliage and roots with just plain water. Drenching is usually done to apply chemicals/fertilizers/whatever to the roots of individual plants but drenching can also be done with fresh water to dilute and wash chemicals away from roots and leaves. So if you think the plants are going to die anyway if you don't try any intervention then I think it won't hurt to try the drench as a last ditch effort. They will either live or die, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Then wait and see if they revive by next spring.
