I agree with this, I think it's the lizards too. OP says lizards are the only animals she sees on her property so the first most obvious conclusion to come to is that it's lizards digging the holes.

Lizards dig holes to lay their eggs in the ground and to provide safe shelter for theirselves from intense desert heat or from predators. Under a driveway is the perfect, ideal spot to have a safe shelter to hole up in. Smart little lizards.

OP - if you want ID on the holes you need to post pictures of them to show what they look like otherwise everybody is just guessing in the wind. Put a coin like a quarter or nickel or penny beside a hole for size comparison. The size of the hole will help give an idea of the size of the animals that are digging the holes.

OK if it's lizards, then that's fine. I have some of those blue tail ones and I don't mind them using my driveway if they want to.

Thanks for asking the question.
We get lots of little holes, sheltered by rock or out in open ground; openings are about the size of a quarter. I've assumed they were rodents of some kind, ground squirrels or mice or something.
I don't see as many lizards as there are holes. I know some are inhabited by tarantulas because I've seen them peering out. I like tarantulas, can't stand the snakes.

another vote for setup a Trail Cam. There's some hokey ones online for $39.95, and you can end the speculation.

For all you know they are scorpions, rats, termites or Elves

Snakes can and will nest under driveways. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
A hole dug by a badger couldn't be categorized as "small"! They are, shall we say, enthusiastic, determined, and anything but subtle.
