This is for the nice person that sent me a rep and expressed curiosity about my comment in another thread about me living in a 9b zone and wondered if it maybe was not being based on the USDA growing zone tables.

Yes, it is based on the USDA growing zone tables, and yes, I really do live in a 9b microclimate zone contained within a 9a growing zone - here is the link to map for my province and area - look for the spots of sort of a brownish maroon colour in the southwest coastal and island areas:

And here for everyone else is the main page to look at so you all can find and determine your own specific location's growing zones and microclimate areas wherever you are in the world, you can use the + and - icon to zoom in and out of your own areas: https://www.plantmaps.com/

I would have never guessed a 9b zone could be that far north. Fascinating! My zone is 10a.... in SWFL, which is no surprise at all. I am not in 9b only because of being near the coast in a warmer microclimate.
