Just did a walk around the house, and found these all blooming. Most of our garden has already bloomed, but have a few later summer bloomers still going here in zone 5.

I try my best to not notice all the weeds calling my name while enjoying the flowers.

We are trying to decide what else to squeeze into the landscape that would add more color for next year - bulbs, etc. Please share your current flowering plants with us. If can upload photos, that would be fun!

Today saw:
Wild Ginger - orange blossoms
Hydrangeas - Limelight is my favorite - super hardy here in zone 5B
Lantanas - multicolored - an annual we planted
Pugster Butterfly Bush
Hardy Mum Chrysanthemum - Mammoth red daisies
Hibiscus - this one is really making a showing in our neighborhood right now
Sedums - Pure Joy
Sedums - Bundle of Joy Stonecrop
Alliums - color faded but still displaying their globes
