We have been at this house for a year and finally got around to removing a Sego that wouldn't grow. My husband pushed on it w/ his foot and it was like Jello ...rotting!!!!! IT was absolutely disgusting but made for a easier removal. ...the smell was horrible. We pulled and removed all that we could(down to the ground) but because it was so jelly-like we didn't pull the roots out. ....now it smells like smelly mulch out there(which I understand smells take a while to go away). Will it just dry up and the smell go away or are we gotta have a smell front walk until we remove the roots?

We put dirt and mulch over the spot.

Thanks!
