Fist make sure it is not bent and free of caked on grass. Then put a nail in a wall and put the blade on it horizontally using the center hole. If one side always wants to go down that side is heavier than the other.

Yes, that's a good suggestion. I would just buy another one, though. As long as you have it off, depending on the age and how many rocks you have hit it's probably dull. I sharpen mine but have the grinding wheel. Most mower blades are only $10-30.

Has the mower been used for a season or more? It's probably unbalanced.
But unless the CUT of the grass shows an unbalanced result ... you can leave the blade be until it does.
At that point? Spend the $10 and buy a new blade.
